Hmm.. what is exactly that you are trying to learn?? You want to try out some questions / assignments so that you get more familiar with UNIX shell. One good set of question that I came across : http://vanibala.150m.com/pdf_files/unixiq.pdf . There are many more online quiz on UNIX shell. The best way to get familiar is to solve problem!! How to get things done using shell.

Oh Oh!! It would be best to follow the build instructions of each projects. Some of them have different ways. Like the gnome has their jhbuild and some other projects depend on the usual make utility.

Hi, I came across an Virtual Box error Failed to load VMMR0.r0 (VERR_SUPLIB_WORLD_WRITABLE). It took a lot of time to find out the solution for it.
    The solution was :
    sudo chmod o-w /usr

If any come across the same error please do remember the solution 🙂
